He can be experienced making music with his melancholic accordeonist and favorite bass player on Friday September 20 from 19h.
Since the beginning of our festival, Caiman Swing, Thierry Bourguignon’s Washboard Band is at their very best at Creuse Nature Jazz.
They draw their public into a kind of whirlwind that is reminiscent of the wild atmosphere of the clubs or parades in New Orleans where musicians, dancers and spectators are just one, for the greatest pleasure of all.
This jazz band, in the pure tradition of the “hot” formations of the years 1920-1930, unrestrainedly distills the dynamic swing of the original jazz. On the program: great standards honoring famous musicians such as King Oliver, Louis Armstrong, Jimmy Noone, or famous brass bands such as Hurricane, Olympia, or Hurricane Trumpeter Leroy Jones.
Sunday afternoon September 20, 2019, from 15h.
Mr. Tchang Blues Explosion is a phenomenon, impressive energy, the fire of God in the palm of your hands, able to remake all the history of the blues standing on the table, the guitar in the back.
Over the concerts they impose this feeling authentic, sincere and assert themselves as one of the major players in the European blues scene! Their sound and style are radically in the vein of a West-Side Blues, Earl Hooker, Otis Rush, Buddy Guy, Jimmy Dawkins …
The group’s personality is expressed above all through compositions firmly rooted in these styles that can be rough, often explosive, sometimes sensual and tense, always interpreted with passion and fervor.
Tuesday September 22, 2019, from 19h.
